I was working for many years at the Egyptian Museum Berlin where visiting exhibitions were organised, among others e.g. in Budapest, Bratislava, Göteborg.

1975-1978 Organisation of the first exhibition on ancient Sudanese Art: Africa in Antiquity. The Arts of Ancient Nubia and the Sudan. Brooklyn 1978. Vol. II: The Catalogue. Visits to Egypt, Sudan, France, Belgium, Denmark, Great Britain, USA.

2000-2004 Planning and construction of an Open Air Museum at Musawwarat es Sufra/Sudan

2005 A photo exhibtion on Littmann's work in Ethiopia and Eritrea: Ethiopia und Eritrea vor 100 Jahren: Historische Fotografien von Theodor von Lüpke. Berlin, April – May.

Excavations and Survey work

1992 Archaeological field work at Meroe (Sudan)
1995-2004 Archaeological field work at Musawwarat es Sufra (Sudan). Also responsible for preservation and restoration work.

1996-1997 Project director for two seasons of survey work on the plateau of Qohayto/Eritrea including first steps to protect monuments (fencing).

As part of the project there the sub project especially for Qohayto "SYMA – Symbiosis Men – Archaeology" was developed and published by Thomas Scheibner
